Wow- I really was dreading dinner when I made this but it was great! Even my bf liked it! It was meaty and the onion soup worked well with it. I added too much garlic but I only made 1 lb so it was my mistake. It was very easy to make and clean up. I'll follow the directions and make this again! :) - 3/4/09

This turned out well for me. I only used one packet of onion soup and about a quarter cup breadcrumbs to compensate. - 9/18/08

This was pretty amazing! I only used one packet of onion soup mix and .25 cup of bread crumbs and instead of the tomato sauce I used my own glaze to top it. - 6/9/10

I thought it was just ehh. Not sure why, it had a funny taste-maybe because of the soup mix? Probably wont make it again. - 3/15/10

WOW great recipie I had to use all my self control to not eat the whole loaf! It was a little high in salt but if you can find a way to lower it when you make it would be perfect! Thanks for this meal! - 12/10/09

I made this tonight, I added some Italian seasoning and I accidently put the tomato sauce in the mix instead of the ketchup. It came out delicious!!!! - 9/20/09

With the parmesan cheese, I'll bet this would be good with Italian seasonings-I intend to try it both ways. - 1/30/09

Made with modifications cos I only had 1lb turkey on hand: 1/2 pkg onion soup mix, a squirt of regular catsup, no Ital seas or pepper, only a sprinkling of garlic pdr atop the 1/3 cup of spaghetti sauce I had on hand, & Worcestershire on top of my slice when cooked. Very tasty!!!! - 1/18/18

    O.K.
Husband liked it and wife hated it. Came out of oven more like a sloppy joe than a meatloaf. Tried it twice in case did not cook it properly the first time and was same result. - 8/4/12

Loved this recipe! The only suggestion I would make is use less onion soup mix. I used only one of the packets from the box and even that was a bit salty for me. 3/4 of a package might be better. My husband said it was the best meatloaf I have ever made. Definately a keeper. - 7/11/12

This sounded good, but turned out even better. It was so easy to make! I added a can of diced tomatoes and green chiles for a little kick. Ended up needing some bread crumbs because of the tomatoes, but it didn't affect the nutrition too much. Wonderful easy meal that I will be making again! - 6/12/12

this was very good, I only had 1 lb ground turkey available and I added almost 2/3C oatmeal to this recipe and did not measure the garlic powder, I just sprinkled the garlic powder over the mixture. I spread ketchup over the top just to cover. Will definitely make this again. - 10/16/11

What a great base recipe. I tweaked it as well. Used 2 pnds Turkey a package of Good Seasons Italian instead of the onion, with cumin and paprika. To the tomato sause I added the garlic as instructed and this is where I put the pepper. No eggs, Cheese or ketchup. My family loved it! Thanks. - 8/4/11

I reviewed the recipe before I made this and I only used one package of the onion soup mix (glad I did). My family loved it but, I thought it tasted salty and I dont know why, I cant believe the garlic powder would of made it salty. I will probably make it again because the kids and husband liked. - 5/19/11

I love this! I took the advice of the other reviewers and only used 1 packet of onion soup mix and a 1/2 cup of bread crumbs. I added 1 tablespoon of splenda brown sugar to the tomato topping. My Husband ate 3 helpings and said it was better than the beef meatloaf I have been making him for 4 years. - 3/9/11

This recipe was good, however, I agree some of the other reviews that the 2nd envelope of onion soup mix is too much. It was too salty for my liking. My husband liked it, so I will make it again using 1 envelope and adding bread crumbs. It was super easy to prepare - 10/19/10
