Nutrition & Calorie Comments

Loved this recipe! The only suggestion I would make is use less onion soup mix. I used only one of the packets from the box and even that was a bit salty for me. 3/4 of a package might be better. My husband said it was the best meatloaf I have ever made. Definately a keeper.
This sounded good, but turned out even better. It was so easy to make! I added a can of diced tomatoes and green chiles for a little kick. Ended up needing some bread crumbs because of the tomatoes, but it didn't affect the nutrition too much. Wonderful easy meal that I will be making again!
I reviewed the recipe before I made this and I only used one package of the onion soup mix (glad I did). My family loved it but, I thought it tasted salty and I dont know why, I cant believe the garlic powder would of made it salty. I will probably make it again because the kids and husband liked.
I love this! I took the advice of the other reviewers and only used 1 packet of onion soup mix and a 1/2 cup of bread crumbs. I added 1 tablespoon of splenda brown sugar to the tomato topping. My Husband ate 3 helpings and said it was better than the beef meatloaf I have been making him for 4 years.
This recipe was good, however, I agree some of the other reviews that the 2nd envelope of onion soup mix is too much. It was too salty for my liking. My husband liked it, so I will make it again using 1 envelope and adding bread crumbs. It was super easy to prepare
WOW great recipie I had to use all my self control to not eat the whole loaf! It was a little high in salt but if you can find a way to lower it when you make it would be perfect! Thanks for this meal!
