Nutrition & Calorie Comments

An entire day's sodium in this for me, so I skipped the beef cube, used my homemade stock, skipped the salt, used salt-free tomatoes. YUM!
Instead of the chili beans I used black beans because that is what I had on hand. I felt it needed a little more salt. I also added 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes because I like things kind of hot and zingy. Good recipe.
Did you figure the nutrition facts without the turkey? A lb of turkey has 84 grams of cholesterol, so divided by 6 servings is 14 grams of cholesterol per serving.
I didnt actually make your recipe, I added pumpkin to mine--which isnt that different. Great idea! Gave it a nice texture, added nutrition and tastes great!
I loved it. I added cayenne pepper for a little more heat and instead of using bullion and water, I substituted fat free low sodium beef broth. Will also try adding jalapenos next time.
Yummy. This recipe is delicious! I used frozen pumpkin that I crushed into puree.

I also use organic no sodium bullion for low sodium content!
Thank you for this recipe!!
