Great recipe. I wanted to scale down the number of servings, so I divided the recipe in half and baked it in an oversized muffin pan. Now I have 4 little quiches to eat on the go! I added sauted onions, mushrooms and vegetarian bacon - yum!!!! Thanks for the easy recipe. - 8/27/08

Made this for dinner last evening. I used whole wheat flour, 1% milk, leftover chicken breast, sauteed zucchini, celery, and onion, lite Jarlsberg swiss and a small amount of mediterranean feta and only 1 tbsp of the butter. It cooked up beautifully and was enjoyed by all. - 11/17/08

Wow, this was amazing!!! Thanks so much for sharing this recipe. I only used 1 tsp of butter, but I don't think it even needs that. I took a previous readers advice and used up my zucchini, mushrooms, and onion. EXCELLENT!!! - 10/3/08

Made this recipe without the butter. Added mushrooms and bacon pieces and it turned out great. This will definately go on my favourites list. - 2/19/14

This was very good! I was worried that there was too much for one pan, so divided it into 2. I made one with sausage and one with mushrooms and peppers. I should have just left it in one pan! It settled while cooking, so even though it was thin- was still delicious! - 7/24/10

I used 3 egg whites, 2 eggs, NO butter (little butter buds), broccoli and asparagus. I would definately add spices and things to give it more flavor next time but it turned out GREAT and was easy for a first timer to make! - 2/27/09

This is a WONDERFUL base recipe....I don't have a blender big enough for all the ingredients, but I find that whisking them together works just as well. I love how you can add whatever you want to this recipe. WONDERFUL! - 11/26/11

Pretty good, but seemed a little moist... maybe because I grated zukes into it. Maybe a little less milk if I do that again. - 9/25/11

I love this recipe! I make it at least 2x a month, always varying the ingredients that I add. Sometimes it's sundried tomatoes, sometimes sausage, or bell peppers. Almost always I add spinach. My husband and baby both love it and I never have leftovers (which is a bummer). :-) - 8/2/11

Great flavor as long as one remembers to season the egg mixture, the only issue I have experienced in the few times I have made this was the crust turning out a bit soggy. Otherwise a great quiche base. - 5/26/14

Really liked this recipe. Doctored it up with green peppers, onion, mushrooms, broccoli, spinich and did use only 1 Tbsp. butter, as several other people suggested - to cut the fat. Best quiche I've ever eaten!! Fabulous. - 1/20/12

Thanks HPERCY. My experiments with regular quiche have all ended up with a soggy bottom crust. The nicely browned Magic Crust on this is truly MAGIC! After blending, I added fresh chives, basil, sauteed mushrooms and 4 ounces of goat cheese, crumbled. I used an 11 x 7 glass casserole dish. Perfect! - 6/3/10

It's not bad. I didn't get much of a crust in some spots, but that could be because I halved the recipe, but put it in a 9" pan (might not have been the right amount of flour to crust the whole bottom). It was pretty tasty, but I think I prefer my quiches crusty! - 1/11/09

DH says 3.5-- he felt it was a little bland, but I thought it was delish. I added feta cheese, turkey, and onions. First quiche ever made and I found it SUPER simple. It did sit a little heavy on my stomach, but very filling. Used only 2 Tbsp. of butter and skim milk and mozz cheese to reduce cal - 9/9/08

Used egg beaters instead, and quiche came out soggy. Don't believe I'd use any butter next time, as it was just floating on top at the end. Will try again with real eggs. - 8/1/08

We made this tonight substituting egg beaters and adding mushrooms, scallions, and morningstar bacon. It was very good! Next time we'll definitely cut some of the butter - it was swimming on top of the quiche. And I'll spray the pie pan, it stuck pretty badly. - 7/23/08
