    4 cups green beans
    1 TBSP olive oil
    2 tsp minced garlic
    1 TBSP soy sauce

Directions

steam green beans (if frozen or fresh) until tender, then sautee in oil and soy sauce, with garlic (and crushed red pepper, if desired) for five minutes or so.

Makes four servings.

    Even though I didn't have the soy sauce to add, I just sprinkled garlic powder/salt on it and it was delicious. The fact that the beans were fresh from the garden just added extra to it! - 9/23/08

    I fell in love with green beans done this way from a chinese buffet. My daughter and I would go to the buffet mostly for the green beans. I do basically the same thing. I need to keep the olive oil on hand. I'm sure it's much better than the oil pan spray I use. - 6/10/08
