Ingredients

    5 DRUMSTICKS
    4 DASHES OF SALT
    8 CRUSHED CLOVES OF GARLIC
    7 TBSP ROSEMARY
    2C BELL PEPPERS
    2C ONIONS
    2TBSP CHILI POWDER
    2TBSP PAPRIKA
    1TBSP EXTRA V. OLIVE OIL

Directions

Place cleaned drumsticks into a baking dish. Add salt, rosemary, paprika, chili powder, onions, peppers, and olive oil. Toss around, cover and refrigerate for 1 hr (preferably overnight).

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Brown Chicken only in skillet on all sides on high heat on stove. Rearrange chicken to be placed on top of the veggies in baking dish. Add water to baking dish--about 1/2 in. Bake in oven for 2 hrs, or until meat is nearly falling off bones.

    I made these for dinner last night, and they were great! To be honest though, I was afraid of the amount of spices suggested, and only halved it. I should have followed the recipe as written! - 5/7/10

    I had 12 drumsticks and did not change the amounts. It got a "good" from everyone which means we might make it again. Leftovers taken with salad were good cold for lunch. - 11/14/14
