Introduction

This is my favorite pizza crust recipe. You can make it in matter of minutes. You can double to make a larger or thicker crust. I have also made mini crusts & froze them to use in the toaster oven. I update the amount of water, should have been 1/2 not 1/3. Slowly add water till you have a dough. May need less or more. This is my favorite pizza crust recipe. Ingredients

    3/4 Cup White flour
    1/4 Cup Whole Wheat flour
    1 tsp Italian seasoning
    1/2 tsp.salt
    1 tsp Baking Powder
    1/2 C water
    Spray PAM for pan

Directions

Preheat oven to 400

Mix all ingredients together. Knead until workable & spreadable, about 2 minutes.Roll or spread the dough out to close to the desired size.

Spray pan with PAM spray and then place crust on to pan and use fingers to nudge the crust into shape.

Place in the oven for 4 minutes, to set the crust. You can skip this but I think helps the crust to stay crispier.

Then top your pizza crust however you wish. Then complete the baking process.

Never knew pizza crust could be so easy! I ended up using just over 1/4 cup water, and it was perfect. Sprinkled a little cornmeal on the pan before putting crust on to bake. Both hubby and I really enjoyed it. Will probably be making this weekly from now on. Thanks for sharing!! - 9/13/10

I have tried a lot of homemade pizza crusts, usually thinking I had to have yeast to make it taste good. This recipe is fantastic. It is quick and extremely filling! I was full after half of a serving, which is very unusual for me.

This will be a weekly dinner from now on.

does anyone know if you can sub out regular white flour for the whole wheat flour to make it an even cup of white flour? is the whole wheat flour just listed because it's healthier, and if so, why not use it for the whole cup?
how do you know how long to bake it after the 4 minutes for toppings?

Awesome crust, almost like a tortilla if you cook for about 5 minutes. I topped mine with Honey, Apple, Pear, and Choboni Yogurt for a perfect dessert pizza. - 10/20/11

It was really good. I used less water and little more Italian Seasoning. To top it, I used Three-Cheese Alfredo Sauce submitted by DORIGIRL and added 2/3C spinach and 1/2 the garlic. It was good. Next time I plan to try turkey pepperoni and black olives w/a light tomato sauce which is my fav pizza! - 6/27/11

I really enjoyed trying this recipe. I made it twice, because the first time was really sticky. Second time try was great. Had my own green pepper, onion, turkey pepperoni, cheese pizza! Was scrumptious! Made it with the recipe "pizza sauce" submitted by WILLDO01. DELICIOSO! - 1/26/11

double the recipe and made on large pizza pan. Topped with 7 tablespoons of ragu, 1 cup shredded cheese, green onion, green pepper and black olives. Didn't know how long to bake it after the 4 minutes, so tried 10 more minutes and then finally a total of 15 minutes. Nice. - 9/18/10

It was SUPER sticky...which was bad because I had to add a lot of extra flour. Other than that, was good. I'll make it again so I don't have to pay attention to my yeasts ex. dates. - 1/7/10

Thank you for sharing! Adapted mildly, doubled-instead of water used beer. Made a delicious 12X12 or so crust with no kudos from the husband. Bye bye Papa Murphys! - 11/7/09

I really like the idea of using the beer. I'll have to try that.

It is very easy and it tastes great! But the recipe calls for too much water! I made a large pizza so I doubled the recipe but used only 2/3cup of water. Excellent recipe! - 4/5/09

Scores points for being easy but the amount of water listed in recipe is way off. We had to double this to even make the flour become dough. Otherwise a really good dough. - 8/20/08
