Introduction

Slow cooked until meat falls off the bone with a slightly sweet and sour sauce to go with it. Slow cooked until meat falls off the bone with a slightly sweet and sour sauce to go with it.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    36 oz lb pork loin
    1 Tbsp olive oil
    1 large onions, sliced
    3 cloves garlic
    1 tsp thyme
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 cups apple juice
    1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
    1 tbsp A1 steak sauce
    2 cups chicken broth
    1 cup water
    2 tbsp cornstarch

Directions

Turn crockpot on high. Heat olive oil in skillet. Brown pork on all sides. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and thyme. Remove from pan and place in slow cooker. Add onions to skillet and cook until tender, then add garlic and cook 30 seconds. Add apple juice, apple cider vinegar, A1 steak sauce and chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Mix cornstarch with water until dissolved and add to apple juice mixture. Stir until thickened. Add salt and pepper if desired. Slowly add mixture to pork loin and cook on high 6-8 hours or until tender. Makes 12-3oz servings
