These are good. A nice chocolate fix for the lower calorie side. However, like everyone else, I only got 20 (21) cookies out of this, which means it's twice the calories as listed. Also, the dough was sticky and hard to deal with. Might have overdone them a little. Will try shorter baking next time! - 3/2/09

I just had to try these and they were very good. Family liked them as well. My batch yielded 37. These are smaller than your normal home baked cookies. Definitely not a whole teaspoon. They do satisfy the chocolate crave. Thanks, I will make again soon and be sure to pass onto others! - 5/4/09

Very good! My son confirmed that they taste like brownies. I made the cookies according to the instructions and I actually did get 40 cookies out of my batch. I felt like they needed a little more chocolate so I added more chocolate chips. I also reduced the baking time to seven minutes. - 1/7/10

These definitely cure a chocolate craving. I might have over-cooked mine b/c they were a bit grainy and dry, but got better the more days they sat. I'll most likely make these again. Thanks for a fun new recipe! - 2/13/09

My best friend and I make these after dinner and it only make 16 by making the size about tablespoon size. Either way they are so good and rich. Perfect chocolate fix after a great dinner! Definitely recommend. I also made them gluten free for mom as well! - 1/14/13

I tried these tonight, they taste delicious, but they are tiny!!! there is no way you can get 40 out of this dough. I got about 25 and they were like an inche wide. I think I had to add a tsp of milk because the batter was very thick but the taste??? YUUUUMMMYYYYY!!!! - 10/19/09

Didn't have choc chips so added walnuts instead. Loved having a small recipe for cookies! I can't imagine squeezing 40 cookies out of that dough, but that was OK with me. I baked for 9 min, but will try 8 min. next time & with the chips. Good, quick, loved the small batch.

Made the cookies as stated except I had to use Country Crock because I didn't have butter, also used 1/4 cup cinnamon applesauce to dough because the dough was kind of dry. I sprinkled a small amount of powdered sugar over them because they needed more sweetness to them. Next time I need more chips - 10/30/16

Just made these cookies and they are wonderful! Like others, the batch definitely does not make 40 cookies...I ended up with 23 cookies. - 1/19/13

These are delicious! I got 40 cookies out of these by using an actual measuring teaspoon, rather than a teaspoon for tea (which for me measures more around 1 tbsp). Mine didn't flatten out, but the rugged look gave them a bit more character. I used mint chips to change up the flavor. - 6/17/12

I doubled this recipe because some of the prev. reviews said it only made half as many as said. I used 2 eggs whites and 1 whole egg, & I added approx. 2 tsp. vanilla, wound up adding about another cup of flour (wheat) too. Also added some extra semi-sweet choco--all-in-all, very good! :D - 5/25/11

I also only got 22 cookies out of this recipe. I also changed the recipe when making it because I know that the calories would be too high if I followed the recipe. Overall, it does fix that sweet craving but they are not delicious. I changed unsweetened cocoa , amount of choco chips, and eggs. - 1/23/11

Love these cookies! I got 42 cookies from this recipe. I made them small because I was afraid that I'd run out of batter [according to the comments] but they make nice teaspoon cookies.Honestly, any bigger and they'd be too rich. - 10/19/10

Just made these. I doubled there recipe, and used 1/2c soy flour, 1/2c wheat flour, 1/2c white flour and 1/2c flaxseed meal with about a tablespoon of Vital Wheat Gluten to balance it out. Used Splenda 1/2 Brown Sugar instead of full brown sugar. WOW! My kids are gonna LOVE these! - 9/30/10

These are vary yummy! I changed a few things, I added 1/2 whole wheat flour, egg beaters, and used light butter. They were still very yummy. I made a double batch and ended up with 48 cookies. I put the ingredients into weight watches and they are still only 1 point even if u add 1/2 cup walnuts! - 4/15/10

They are better than I expected. My hubby who is a chocoholic liked them! My batch gave me 23 cookies...I'll make them a tad smaller next time. And I used light brown sugar instead (don't know if that makes any difference). - 2/23/10

Yummy. I added more mini chocolate chips, but did everything else exactly as directed. The first batch came out perfect, but I over baked the second batch. Be careful, it is real easy to over bake these bite size cookies. My batch yielded 37. - 1/15/10

I made the dough and froze it. When I want something sweet I cut off a few small pieces and bake just these. It is easy to make the size uniform when cutting the frozen dough. Very good cookies too! - 12/30/09

Very tasty treat, but I also did not get 40 cookies out of this recipe and I was using the smallest amount possible. They bake and rise really nice and the taste and texture is very good. I got 25 cookies out of this recipe. - 12/12/09

These were very good. The batter had a frosting texture to it, and tasted like chocolate frosting as well. I ended up making mine bigger than the teaspoon, getting 19 cookies instead, but they are still so darn yummy. - 7/5/09
