This is my standard pizza dough recipe ever since I found it. It is wonderful. It doesn't have the dry texture I have experienced with nearly all the other whole wheat recipes I have tried. - 2/12/08

Didn't turn out the way I had hoped. It broke up too easily and the end result was more spongy than what I hoped for. I followed directions exactly as written here. It tastes good but not what I was looking for. - 2/13/11

Amazing. I tried this morning for breakfast. 100% success, I would like to say everyone that I used whole wheat pastry flour, and knead the dough for 7 minutes and kept for 30 minutes in oven which I preheated at 200 F and switched off, n made the dough to raise . That's it..Soft and crispy.thank - 4/16/17

could use more detailed directions --- prior understanding that pizza dough should be like bread dough helped. The dough needed to be kneaded with more flour before letting it rise..... tried pressing it on our pizza stone and it baked stuck on it, but tasted good. will try again - 10/9/16

Can't wait but it sure looks good and beats buying the store-bought stuff!... Thank you for providing this recipe..... I put this recipe in my file box. - 9/18/16

Great - just make sure you check the calories on your flour.... the brand I used was particularly high in calories so the recipe's calorie info didn't match! But totally delicious and easy. - 8/26/13

I thought this was very good. Easy to work with. I did add chunks of garlic to my dough and used grapeseed oil in place of olive oil. And I used a little under 1 tbsp. I let it sit for about 15 minutes and was able to work with it without any additional flour. Will definitely use it again. - 3/18/13

I do not have a round pizza pan, a rectangular cookie sheet works just as good! :)
I use 2 tbsp applesauce in place of the oil.
I also use non-stick cooking spray on the pan with just a sprinkling of cornmeal, to prevent sticking! Turns out perfect! Thanks

Our favorite crust! Sometimes we use sugar instead of honey, and it's still great but a little softer. We usually make 2 pizzas in cake pans, since I need to have no cheese and my spouse "needs" lots of cheese! Delicious. - 7/14/11

LOVE IT! This is just SO easy! Something this simple and tasty desrves to be a part of regular meal preparation. That is what is going to happen for me! I have many plans for this dough. Calzone, all kinds of neat stuff! The taste is good but the simplicity and speed puts it at 5 stars. THANKS! - 6/5/11

I don't know what it was but I couldn't bare to chew thru this crust. I don't know if it was just the overwhelming wheat taste or not. My fiancee loved it tho. - 2/24/10

I'm a very novice pizza crust maker, so chances are this didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped due to user error. It had a decent flavor, but it was too thick for my husband. I thought it was good but difficult to work with. - 2/9/10

I just made this recipe and my family loved it. The crust was easier to make then I thought it would be. I did add a little more honey but that was only due to not wanting to measure it out. This is going to be the new crust in our house. - 2/1/10

I have now made this crust twice. It has come out perfectly both times and is the right foundation for all the sauce and veggies I care to add. Thank you for posting and sharing this recipe! - 8/17/09

Great pizza base. I will make it thinner next time as the wholemealy bready flavour overpowered the toppings a bit. I'll also cook it a bit longer at a lower temperature, as it was still pretty doughy inside and didn't hold together too well. - 8/4/09

This is a great recipe. I loved that it was so quick, easy and had few ingredients. It burnt a little for me at 15min so I'll go easy on it next time but that may be my fossil of an oven. - 7/15/09

My BF and I loved it. I used a little less salt, only to cut the sodium a bit, and mine seemed to need a few extra minutes in the oven. I don't know if that's the recipe, all the topping we used, or my stupid ancient oven. Thanks for posting :) - 6/22/09

I am definitely going to try this... it sounds perfect! I'm going to divide the recipe in two so my husband and I only have 2 servings at a time =). - 6/18/09

does it have to be honey or can i use sugar? I dont have any honey on hand. J/W. i guess I will try it and see!---i haven't baked it yet, but I couldn't get it to feel "doughy" ...i'm letting it rise and I'll see if it gets any better. - 4/27/09
