Introduction

My sister gave me this one and it is beyond simple. I fix it before I leave for work and often even put in frozen chicken breasts and they fall apart in the crock pot. It tastes like it has lots of cream and somehow..cheese even though it doesn't. My sister gave me this one and it is beyond simple. Ingredients

    4-6 chicken breasts
1 can of 98% fat free Cream of Chicken Soup
1 can of 98% fat free Cream of Mushroom Soup
    1 can of Rotel tomatoes
    1 can of corn
1 can of diced green chilis
1/2 pack of reduced sodium taco soup seasoning

Directions

Put all the stuff in your crockpot...stir it up and leave it cooking for about 6-8 hours. The chicken will fall apart when it is ready. Sometimes I garish with a dallop of sour cream or cheese. It is soooo yummy!

Ease and taste are great, but I come up with about ~140 more calories per serving than you even though I left the corn out. Hmmmm. Did you maybe forget that there are 2.5 servings in each can of soup, making each can 200 calories?

This sounds awesome...can you tell me the size of the cans? I have a big family and buy the big cans. I am assuming the little cans but just want to make sure. I'm going to make this this week. Thanks! - 11/7/09

I just use the "regular" size cans. I think they are 14oz. I hope you enjoy...I bet you will!

I found it to be thin as well. But then I leave the lid off the crockpot for about an hour and let some of the water evaporate.

I will reenter the recipe for calories. I don't think it's right either.

I've always been scared to use frozen chicken breasts in the crockpot. Do they turn out ok? I'm so scared they won't cook properly. - 4/12/10

I made this the other night and it was very tasty. Mine did come out a bit watery so I just mixed the rice in before serving and it thickened up. - 11/16/09
