Ingredients

    1 tbsp butter
    1 cup orzo pasta
    1.25 cups low sodium chicken broth
    1.25 cups water
    .24 cup parmesan cheese
    2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
    .25 tsp black pepper
    4 tbsp pine nuts, toasted

Directions

1. Heat butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add orzo and cook 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
2, Stir in broth and water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until liquid is absorbed, and orzo is done, about 15 minutes.
3. Remove from heat; stir in cheese, basil and pepper. Sprinkle with pine nuts; serve immediately.
