Ingredients

    2 lbs cube steaks (top sirloin or round steak)
    salt
    pepper
    1 package of dry onion mix
    1 can FF cream of mushroom soup
    2 cups water

Directions

Salt and pepper meat.
Add water, soup, and onion mix, place in crock pot.
Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
Serve with mashed potatoes or rice (neither one is counted in the calculations).

    Added some mushrooms, onions, and carrots for taste. Excluded the onion soup packet in order to reduce sodium. Needed some spices. - 11/18/11

    Incredible!
    This was delicious and the steak was very tender. I substituted 3 cups of beef broth, and 2 t garlic for the mushroom soup and water because of dairy allergies. I thickened the liquid with cornstarch for gravy before serving. It was delicious! Will definitely make again. - 9/24/10
