Sorry, but you cannot possibly list this as a healthy recipe. Diet sodas contain Aspartame which contains Methanol. Methanol transforms into the poison Formaldehyde when heated over 86F. Please do not use diet sodas for cooking!!! - 11/30/10

    Incredible!
I think that this recipe is fabulous. I am a diet coke lover (only drink it on special occasions). It is fun to incorporate it into a dessert. My only problem was getting the cake out of the cake pan without falling apart. I just put it into a bowl and served with no-sugar fat free ice cream. - 8/5/08

I used a Devil's Food cake mix with Diet Dr. Pepper Cherry Chocolate soda. I topped it with FF Cool Whip to which I added Chocolate Fudge FF/SF Jello Pudding. I threw a few maraschino cherries on top for decoration. It really was suprisingly moist and tasty, most people enjoyed it. - 5/12/08

This was easy and cured a chocolate fix, I used chocolate cake and diet Dr. Pepper. I topped it off with strawberries and fat free cool whip, and felt like I was cheating it was so good! Looking forward to experimenting with other cake/cola flavors! - 1/22/08
