Ingredients

    INGREDIENTS:

    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 lbs. green beans trimmed
    2 Tbls. unsalted butter
    1/3 cup of slivered almonds, chopped
    2 Tbls. lemon juice

    Bring large saucepan of water to a boil add salt and stir in beans.
    Cook until tender, 4 - 5 minutes
    Meanwhile, melt butter over medium heat in large skillet
    Add almonds and cook until both almonds and butter begin to brown lightly, about 3 minutes
    Stir in lemon juice
    Drain beans and add to skillet, tossing to coat with almonds.
    Salt to taste
