Introduction
I found the Big Mac Pizza on spark recipes and wanted to use ground turkey instead of ground beef (I stopped using ground beef about 2 years ago). Ingredients
-
Pillsbury Pizza Crust - thin crust (11 oz)
Kraft Free Thousand Island Dressing (16 oz)
Honeysuckle White Fresh Ground Turkey 97/3 (16 oz)
small onion 1/2 cup - small dice
sweet pickels 1/2 cup - small dice
dill pickels 1/2 cup - small dice
2% milk reduced fat mozzarella cheese 2 cups
Kraft Fat Free American Singles 9 slices
Directions
Brown the ground turkey and onion in a skillet.
Spray a 9x13 baking pan with non-stick spray. Roll pizza crust out and place in pan. Spread the thousand island dressing on the pizza crust (I used the whole bottle by accident, you could use less - the whole bottle is figured in the calorie count).
After the meat and onion are browned, drain any excess fat (if any) - spoon the meat mixture on the crust with dressing.
Spoon the pickels on top of the meat mixture. (I like sweet pickels, rest of my family likes dill - so I divided the pizza in 1/2 and arranged them accordingly).
Top the pickels with the mozzarella cheese, then the singles. Spray with non-stick spray (helps the singles melt better).
