Introduction

These are so delicious and are so simple. They remind me of Chili's black beans. Adjust the seasonings to your liking. I make this as a main dish served with a salad but would be a perfect side dish. Ingredients

    1 can black beans (I used Bush's)
    1/4 onion chopped fine
    1/4 jalepeno chopped fine
2 tsp chopped fresh cilantro (add more or less to your liking)
    1/4 tsp chili powder
    1/4 tsp garlic powder
    1/4 tsp sugar
    lime segment

Directions

Combine all ingredients except lime in a medium sauce pan. Simmer over medium heat for 15-20 minutes. Garnish with Cilantro and I lime wedge.

I like to squeeze the lime right before i eat it. So yummy!
