Introduction

Pork sausage and fresh vegetables are a great addition to this pre-packaged product. It's one of my family's favorite dishes during the holidays. Pork sausage and fresh vegetables are a great addition to this pre-packaged product. It's one of my family's favorite dishes during the holidays.
Number of Servings: 18

Ingredients

    Stove Top Stuffing, chicken flavored, 3 boxes
    Pork Sausage roll, 16 ounces (1 roll)
    Margarine, 12 TBSP
    Chicken Bouillon, Powdered, 2 TBSP
    Celery, 5 stalks, diced
    Onion, 1 large, diced
    Water, 4 1/2 cups

Directions

Fry sausage in a frying pan until thoroughly cooked. Drain. Set aside.

Pour water into large pot. Add margarine, bouillon, celery and onion. Bring to a boil, then simmer over medium heat for about 1/2 hour or until vegetables are tender. Mix in sausage. Mix in dry stuffing mix.

Great when baked inside of a turkey or stuffed chicken breasts.

Makes 9 cups of stuffing, or 18- 1/2 cup servings.

    Very Good
    Very good!! I'm leaving the margarine out to cut the fat. I've done this before and my family never notices. Stretch it further by adding more veggies, either cut up or shredded...sneak those extra veggies in, the probably won't even notice!! Thanks Crafty Wanda!! - 4/5/10
