Yummy healthy muffins that make a great low calorie breakfast! Yummy healthy muffins that make a great low calorie breakfast!
Number of Servings: 12


    Milk, nonfat, 1 cup
    Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp
    Salt, 0.25 tsp
    Applesauce, unsweetened, 0.25 cup
    Baking Powder, 1 tsp
    Baking Soda, 0.25 tsp
    Brown Sugar, 0.25 cup, packed
    Oats, 1 cup
    Egg white, 2 serving
    Flax Seed Meal (ground flax), 1 tbsp
    Whole Wheat Flour, 1 cup


Mix together the oats and milk and let soak while you mix the dry ingredients in a seperate bowl. Once the dry ingredients are together add in the oats and milk mixture as well as the eggs and vanilla.

Bake at 375 for 24 minutes. Makes 12 muffins.

    Wonderful recipe. Made it for a sunday brunch...it was a big hit! My kids helped me make it and really enjoyed them as well. Will defientely be making these again! - 5/8/10
