Ingredients

    (Taken from Stevia Rebaudiana: Nature's Sweet Secret)

    - Whole Wheat flour, 1 cup
    - Rolled Oats, 1 cup
    - Baking Powder, 1 TBSP
    - Salt, 1/2 tsp (optional)
    - Nutmeg, 1/2 tsp
    - Cinnamon, 2 tsp
    - STEVIA powder, 1 1/2 tsp**
    - Egg, large, 1
    - Milk, 1%, 3/4 cup
    - Apple, 1
    - Apple Sauce, 1/4 cup

    ** Stevia is an all-natural sweetener and it will not spike blood sugar levels.
    You can substitute the Stevia with sugar, the equivalent would be around 3/4 cup of sugar. (Obviously the nutritional info would change.)

Directions

Makes 12 muffins.

"Preheat oven 400 degrees. Mix first seven ingredients thoroughly. In separate bowl mix remaining ingredients. Gradually mix dry ingredients into moist ingredients. Spoon into greased muffin tins. Bake 15 to 20 minutes."
