Ingredients
-
3 cups of cooked white rice
2.5 cups of skim milk
1/4 cup of granulated sugar
2 packets of Truvia
1 tsp of cinnamon
1/4 tsp of nutmeg
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1/2 cup of raisins
Directions
Cook 3 cups of rice (if you haven't already done so) and let it cool down for 5-10 minutes.
Add the skim milk, sugar, Truvia, raisins, and vanilla extract. Heat at approximately medium heat (you can start a little higher and then lower it) for approximately 15 minutes until most of the milk is absorbed/evaporated.
(It really depends on how much liquid you like. We like it milky so 15 minutes is plenty for us.)
Add the cinnamon and nutmeg, stir well, and heat for another couple of minutes so the flavors are abosorbed.
It should make approximately 12 servings (1/2 cup), depending on how thick or liquidy you made it.
