Ingredients

    shortening (vegetable), peanut butter, granulated sugar, honey, egg, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat oven to 375F. Cream shortening, peanut butter, sugar, and honey in a large bowl. Add egg and mix until thoroughly combined. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. Add flour mixture to peanut butter mixture a little at a time, combining thoroughly after each addition. Stir in chocolate chips (morsels). Chill dough for about 1/2 hour. Drop by tablespoon onto cookie sheet. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes. Makes approximately 3 dozen cookies.
