Ingredients

    1 Tbsp Splenda Brown Sugar Blend
    1 Tbsp Smart Beat Margarine
    1 Tbsp canola oil
    1/3 c walnut pieces
    2 Tbsp canola oil
    1 1/2 Tbsp vinegar (cider or red wine is good)
    1 can (2 cups) sliced beets, drained
    1 red apple, cored and diced

Directions

Combine brown sugar blend, margarine and 1 T canola oil in a small saucepan. Stir over low heat until margarine is melted. Add walnut pieces and continue stir for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.

Add remaining oil and vinegar and pour over beets and apple. Toss gently and serve immediately or chill.
