Ingredients

    2 Tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
    1 cup diced onion
    2 (24 oz.) fully cooked beef pot roast (Hormel Beef au jus is a good choice)
    1 ½ cups tomato and basil pasta sauce
    1 cup mild banana pepper rings
    1 cup of Mancini peppers and onions
    2 tablespoons garlic powder
    1 tablespoon basil
    1 tablespoon oregano
    6 French Hamburger Buns

Directions

1. Preheat large saucepan on medium-high 2-3 mins. Place oil in pan; swirl to coat. Add onions and cook 4-5 mins., stirring occasionally, until onions begin to brown.

2. Stir in remaining ingredients (except buns), cover, and bring to a boil; reduce heat to medium. Cook 15-20 mins. until hot, stirring occasionally to break meat up.

3. Serve on hamburger buns. (Try reduced carb buns for extra carb savings.)
