Ingredients
-
tea, Splenda, mint leaves
Directions
Wash, pat dry, and coarsely chop or tear 12 fresh mint leaves. Prepare to brew 3 quarts (96 fl oz) of tea. I used an iced tea maker with 10 tea bags in the brew basket. Add the leaves to the brew basket. In the pitcher, add 1/2 cup of Splenda. Press "brew" and that's it!
To make on the stove, add 3 quarts of water to a large pot, along with 10 tea bags. Place the chopped/torn mint leaves in a tea ball or muslin bag. If you do not have one of these, be sure to strain the tea as you pour it into your pitcher. Add 1/2 cup of Splenda to the pitcher while you bring the water, tea, and mint to a boil. Once the tea comes to a rolling boil, remove from heat and pour into pitcher.
Makes 12 8-oz servings.
