Introduction

Delicious chinese pepper steak can easily be turned into beef and broccoli! Delicious chinese pepper steak can easily be turned into beef and broccoli!
Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    1.5 lbs thin slice sirloin steak
    2 green bell peppers or 1 head of broccoli
    1 yellow onion
    1 can diced tomato or 1 fresh tomato diced
    2 cups water
    1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
    1 teaspoon garlic salt
    1 Tablespoon sugar
    2 Tablespoons corn starch
    4 Tablespoons soy sauce


Directions

Heat oil in large skillet until hot, add meat and stir fry until nicely browned. add onion, water, ginger, garlic salt and boil. Cover and cook 5 mins. add bell pepper (broccoli) cover and cook 5 mins or until tender. add tomatoes.

In separate bowl combine sugar, corn starch and soy sauce and whisk well. add to meat/veggie and boil. Cool until sauce thickens.

Serve over steamed rice!
