Introduction

This is a recipe passed down from my grandfather and we eat it up faster than we can replace it! This is a recipe passed down from my grandfather and we eat it up faster than we can replace it!
Number of Servings: 112

Ingredients

    4 Cups Apricot Puree (halved apricots plus 1 cup of water)
    3 Tbsp Lemon Juice (fresh if available)
    4 Cups Sugar

Directions

Blend Apricots and water, mix puree with lemon juice real well. Stir in sugar until disolved. Put on stove top and bring to a boil. Just before boil point, add 2 Tbsp margarine/butter - prior to foam. Bring to a boil and stir constantly. Boil for 5 minutes.

Pour into jar that has been boiled for 10 minutes and put lid (also boiled for 10 minutes) and ring on, screw hand tight.

Makes 4 pint jars. Can double recipe.
