Ingredients

    2 oz. French Bread, sliced into 8 thin rounds
    1 large egg
    2 Tbsp. fat-free milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. butter flavoring
    1 packet sugar substitute
    butter flavored cooking spray

Directions

In a shallow bowl, whisk egg with milk, flavorings and sugar substitute. Place bread rounds in egg mixture and let soak for 5 minutes. Flip bread and soak for another 5 minutes or until the moisture is absorbed into the bread. Spray skillet with cooking spray. Heat to medium high and place bread rounds in pan. Do not layer rounds on top of each other. Brown for about 3 minutes on each side. Serve with maple syrup or sprinkled powder sugar and fresh fruit (not included in nutrition information.) Makes two servings.
