Introduction

Wonderful marinade for salmon. Also great for chicken.
After marinating the salmon, put marinade in saucepan and cook on med high for 15 to 20 minutes to reduce. Serve as a sauce for the fish.

I use leftover salmon and cooked marinade with cold cooked pasta for a salad another day. Wonderful!

Ingredients

    4 garlic cloves
    1 oz fresh ginger root
    1/2 cup honey
    1/3 cup soya sauce
    1 cup orange juice

Directions

Cut salmon into steaks of fillets. Put garlic, ginger, honey and soya sauce into a blender and process until smooth. Add the orange juice and blend again.
15 to 30 minutes before cooking (grilling or broiling) the salmon, marinate the fish in a plastic bag.
Drain marinade into a sauce pan and cook on med high to reduce.
Grill or broil the salmon. Garnish with a bit of the cooked marinade and thinly sliced green onions or chives.
