Introduction

Ingredients

    1/2 c. butter
    1-1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. milk
    3-1/2 c. flour
    1 tspn baking soda

    For the coating:
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp cinnamon

Tips

I wrote 20 minutes for cooking time because I bake them in two batches.


Directions

Makes about 40 cookies (servings)

Cream butter, vanilla and sugar. Add egg and milk. Sift in baking soda and flour. Refridgerate dough for half hour or so. Roll into balls (a little smaller than a ping pong ball) then roll in sugar/cinnamon mixture to coat. Bake 10 minutes at 375F.

    my daughter tried to make these cookies. It doesn't say how much baking soda to put in. hmmmmm. please fix
    The other thing is.....I thought snickerdoodles were made with cinnamon. not good

    Sorry about missing the baking soda in the ingredients - it's 1
    teaspoon. Thanks for letting me know!

    I'm sure there are a lot of recipes for snickerdoodle cookies, but this one only calls for cinnamon on the outside of the cookie.
