Ingredients

0.5 chicken breast (no skin or bone)
0.5 cup chicken stock or broth
0.25 cup chick peas
0.5 yogurt - plain lowfat
0.25 cup fresh corriander (cilantro)
1 teaspoon cumin
1 tablespoon corriander ground
1 teaspoon pepper, black
salt
0.5 tablespoon chili powder (any type you like)
3 garlic cloves (chopped)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon olive oil
Directions
Cut the chicken breast into small cubes about an inch each
Season with a pinch of each powder and mix
In a skillet, add oil until heated the brown chicken on both sides until golden (high flame), then reduce flame
Add the onions, garlic, chickpeas and the rest of all seasonings (except fresh corriander)
At a low flame, add the broth and stir for a few minutes then cover with lid for another 15 minutes
Uncover lid, add the fresh corriander leaves and yogurt and stir for another 5 minutes
Serve with brown or wild rice and some sliced caramelized onions on top
