Introduction

This is a mild flavored potato like fried cake. Pleasant, but more spices might be beneficial. I served with FF sour cream and salsa.

Ingredients

    Taro (Chembu) - 580g
    Ginger and Chili paste - 1 TBSP
    Salt, Water - As required
    Olive Oil - for frying(1 used 1 tbsp to calculate recipe)
    I large onion minced







Directions

Peel the taro, wash and cut into small pieces. Boil in salt water.

Mash taro and mix with chili ginger paste and minced onion. Fry in pan using minimal oil. Cook till golden brown.

Allow about 20 minutes to pare and boil taro, and about 10 to shape and fry.
