Introduction

Lighter version of bannana bread, made with wheat flour and applesauce. Lighter version of bannana bread, made with wheat flour and applesauce.
Number of Servings: 9

Ingredients

    1 1/2 Cup Wheat Flour
    1/2 ts salt
    1/2 ts baking soda
    1 1/2 ts cinnamon, ground
    1 Egg
    1 Egg White
    1/2 Cup Applesauce, unsweetened
    1/4 Cup Oil
    1 Cup Sugar
    1 1/2 ts Vanilla
    1 Bannana, rippened
    1/2 Cup Walnuts

Directions

Mix dry ingredients (flour & spices) in one bowl. Mix wet ingredients in another bowl until blended. Slowly add dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Add walnuts last.

Pour into small loaf pans (or muffins). Cook until toothpick comes out clean. Approx 15-20 minutes.

Makes 9 mini-loafs.
