Introduction

This is a super easy way to make chicken. You can serve this dish with some salad and veggies This is a super easy way to make chicken. You can serve this dish with some salad and veggies
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    3 Chicken breast
    2 tbsp olive oil
    1 clove minced garlic
    1 tsp oregano
    1 tsp italian seasoning
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    salt and pepper to taste
    Jar of Marinara sauce (3 cups)
    1 cup Mozarella cheese

Directions

1. Preheat oven 375 degrees. Grease cassarole dish with pam. Cut Chicken breast horizontaly so it makes 2 thin flat chicken breasts.
2. Rub Chicken breast with olive oil and Garlic. Sprinkle oregano, italian seasoning, salt and pepper over chicken.
3. Lay chicken breast in cassarole dish. Pour marinara sauce over chicken.
4. Bake chicken for 20 minutes. sprinkle cheese over chicken and bake for an addictional 10 minutes. Make sure chicken is done all the way before taking out of oven. Serve with pasta if you prefer but it tastes great by itself too!

    I prepared this with WW spaghetti. I thought I wouldn't like this because the chicken wasn't breaded, but it was wonderful. I wouldn't have noticed a difference if I hadn't known otherwise. - 10/3/08

    This might be better with fresh ingredients, but mine was very bland. On the other hand, you could get pretty creative with it. - 2/18/09
