Ingredients

1 medium Onion
1- 12 oz. can evaporated fat free milk
1 can cream style corn
1 can corn, no salt added
2 cup frozen or fresh diced potato**
12 oz Turkey Sausage
2 cup 99% fat free chicken stock
1 tbsp Cornstarch
1 tbsp Water
Directions
Chops onion. Cook sausage and onion until sausage is brown and onion is tender. Drain if necessary.
Return sausage and onion to pan and add potato** and chicken stock. Bring to boiling, reduce heat and simmer until potato is tender, about 15 minutes.
Add cream style and whole kernel corn and evaporated milk. Cook until throughouly heated.
* If a thicker chowder is needed mix cornstartch and water, then add to chowder. Serves 4 to 6 (calculated nutrition for 5 servings.)
**Frozen potato may be toasted or baked in the oven first to add a crispy outside to the potato. Spray the potato with non stick cooking spray and then place in oven/toaster for 10 to 15 minutes before adding to chowder.
The low amount of fat allows the addition of a sprinkling of cheese if desired.
