Ingredients

One large head of Cabbage - chopped into large pieces
Two Carrots - sliced into cubes
Pinto beans - 2 cans (can use any beans you prefer)
48 oz Fat Free Chicken broth - can use vegetable or beef stock
    Two cups of water
    Salt
    Pepper

Directions

Plug in your slow cooker and set to warm. Wash and clean your carrots, then slice into bite size cubes or quarters. Add to the slow cooker first because they take longest to cook. Add a tsp of salt and peper. Next clean and chop your large head of cabbage. Don't worry about the size of the pieces, the bigger the better because it will soften and break down while cooking. Add to crockpot and season with salt and pepper. Cover with all of the broth and 2 cups of water. Set cooker to high for 6-7 hours. The last hour of the cooking, drain the cans of beans and add the beans to the soup.
