Ingredients

    1 C lentil beans, rinsed
    1 C brown rice (I had long grain, non instant)
    1 C sliced carrots
    1/2 C chopped celery
    1/2 C chopped onion
    2 C Swanson Cooking Stock, Beef (has no sugar)
    Add water to make at least 3 cups total liquid (for stew, more for soup)
    bay leaf, salt and pepper, and other seasoning to taste

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a crock pot; cook on high for 3 hours or low for 5. Makes 6 servings under 100 calories.
