Ingredients

1 chicken in serving parts (I use chicken breasts to save time and effort)
salt and pepper to taste,
3 cloves garlic, crushes
1 medium onion, chopped
3/4 cup orange juice
2 tbsp. honey
1/2 inch root ginger, minced
2 tbsp. soy sauce (I use sodium reduced soy sauce)
3 tbsp. sugar (I use brown sugar)
1/2 sweet pepper (green pepper)
Directions
Servings: 4-6 people
preparation
1. Cut up and season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic and onion
2. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
3. Pour sauce over chicken in a shallow baking dish.
4. Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour, basting regularly.
5. Serve with rice and green salad.
