Ingredients

2 oz. Hillshire Farms Turkey Polska Kielbasa
    4 cups fresh cabbage, shredded
    Pam Olive Oil Cooking Spray
S&P to taste (optional, not included in calculations)

Directions

Spray large skillet with Pam and preheat to Medium. Slice sausage into bite-size pieces and add to skillet. Brown slightly on both sides. Add cabbage. Use a spatula or wide spoon to lift and flip the cabbage to ensure even cooking. Continue to cook until cabbage begins to turn bright green and wilt a bit. Most of the cabbage will still be al dente, so add a little water to pan and cover with a lid. Let cabbage steam until tender. You will need to check it frequently to be sure it doesn't stick to pan. If there is too much water in the pan after steaming, let it simmer a bit with lid off once cabbage has softened.

Serves One. I prefer this with lots of fresh cracked black pepper and a bit of sea salt. Just remember to add that into your nutrition numbers as I did not include it.

Sounds good, I might add a can of low sodium diced tomatos. - 11/29/10
