Ingredients

    5 chicken breasts, chopped
    1 pkg. lean, hot, smoked turkey sausage
    1 T olive oil
    1 cup celery,k chopped
    3/4 c. parsley, chopped
    1 bag frozen peppers 'n onions
    4 garlic cloves, chopped
    2 cups chicken broth
    1 cup green onions, chopped
    1 6 oz. can tomato paste
    1.5 t thyme
    2 bay leaves
    2 t oregano
    1 t chili powder
    1 t. salt
    1/2 t. cayenne pepper (1 for more fire)
    1 t. black pepper
    3 lbs. cooked shrimp

    rice, if desired

Directions

saute sausage, saute celery, peppers 'n onions, parlsey, garlic in sausage juices, dump everything but shrimp in crock. Cook. 1 hour before serving, dump shrimp in.
