    * Onion, peeled and quartered
    * Garlic, 4-6 cloves
    * 1 lb Carrots
    * Canned Tomatoes, 1 cup
    * dates, pitted, whole, 4 oz
    * Prunes, dried, 1 cup, pitted
    * Honey, 2 tbsp
    * Beef stock, home-prepared, 1 cup
    * Cinnamon stick
    * cumin, ground, 1 tsp
    * cumin, ground, 1 tsp
    * coriander, ground, 2 tsp
    * Ginger, ground, 1 tsp
    * Turmeric, ground, 1 tsp
    * Salt, to taste
    * Pepper, black, to taste
    * Sliced Almond, 0.25 cup
    * Coriander, fresh, 2 tbsp (garnish)
