Introduction

This is tweaked a little from a cooking light recipe. I loved the asparagus , though I will try it again with the peas called for in the original. I was just out! Ingredients

    * Cavatelli pasta, 8 oz
    * *King Arthur Flour (Organic All-Purpose Flour), 0.25 cup
    * *Diamond Crystal Salt Sense Real Iodized Salt, 0.5 tsp
    * *Horizon Organic 2% Milk DHA OMEGA-3, 2 cup
    * *Gruyere, 5 oz
    * *Butter, Smart Balance Omega w/ Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1 tbsp (you can sub cooking spray)
    * Shrimp, raw, 14 oz peeled and deveined
    * Garlic, 3 clove
    * Pepper, black, .25 tsp
    * Asparagus, canned, 1.5 cup

Directions

Preheat oven to 375. Cook pasta according to package.
Mix four and salt in a large pan on medium heat and gradually whisk in milk. Bring to a slight boil, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened. Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup of cheese.
Heat butter in skillet, add shrimp, garlic, and pepper, cook until shrimp is pink.
Add the shrimp mixture and pasta to the cheese mixture. Stir well and place in a 13x9 baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining =cheese and bake for 20 minutes. You may have to broil it for about 2 minutes to get the cheese to brown nicely.
