    1 lb ground beef
    1 lb. ground turkey
    2 T. chili powder
    1 med onion- chopped
    2-3 cloves of garlic- chopped
    1-15 oz can Joan of Arc Black Beans
    1-15.5 oz can Joan of Arc Light Red Kidney Beans
    1-15.5 oz can Joan of Arc Dark Red Kidney Beans
    1-6 oz can Hunt's Tomato Paste-No Salt Added
    1-8oz can Hunt's Tomato Sauce-No Salt Added
    1-28 oz Diced Tomatoes (I used Jewel Brand)
    1 C. water
    Add more water as needed while simmering.


Brown ground beef, ground turkey, onion, garlic, & chili powder in large skillet.
Drain off grease.
Put into large pot, & add tomato paste, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, & all the beans. Bring to a boil. Turn down heat, & simmer for at least two hours--the longer, the better. Can simmer for 3 hrs. or more!
Should make around 10-12-1 Cup servings-depends on how much water you add. If you want thicker chili, don't add as much water.
