Ingredients

    1 pound Sweet Italian Sausage
    Garlic, 2 cloves
    Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia)
    Celery, raw, 1 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long)
    Carrots, raw, 1 medium
    Chicken Broth, 16 fl oz (1 can)
    Tomato Paste, 1 can (6 oz)
    Beans, red kidney, 14.5 oz can
    Yellow Sweet Corn, Canned, 1 can (12 oz)
    Green Beans (snap), 1/2 cup )
    Barley, pearled, cooked, 3 TBS
    *Barilla Ditalini, 1 cup

Directions

Cut sausage into bite sized pieces. heat large skillet over medium heat. Add Sausage, garlic, onion, and celery and cook, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes.

Remove from pan and drain fat. Place in slow cooker

Add carrot, broth, tomato paste, beans, corn (well drained) green beans barley, and 4 cups of water to slow cooker. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Coer and cook on high 2-3 hours, or on low 4-6 hours.

Stir in pasta during last half hour of cook time.
