Introduction

A crockpot meal. This is made with homemade stock with no salt added. I add a little salt in the cooking, but that is optional. If I need a taste of salt I sprinkle a little on my bowl but do not stir. A crockpot meal. This is made with homemade stock with no salt added. Ingredients

    1 10 oz bag dried navy beans, rinsed
    1 cup chopped ham
    1/2 c chopped onioins
    1/4 cup chopped celery and carrots
    8 cup chicken stock
    1/2 tsp salt and pepper
    water as needed

Directions

Into a crockpot put all ingredients except ham. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. You add the ham in the last hour. You might want to add some water as it will be thick. I added 2 cups water with the ham.
This recipe makes 10 - 1 cup servings
Great served with cornbread, I did a modified one.
