Introduction

Ingredients

    For the Pork and Prawn balls:
    450g mince Pork
    300g Prawns
    1 tsp Tarogoshi seasoning
    1 tsp 5 spice powder
    1 clove garlic
    1 tsp root ginger minced
    1 egg white

    For the sauce:
    100ml White wine vinegar
    100ml water
    90g sugar
    2 medium carrots
    1 yellow pepper
    1 tbsp Soy Sauce


    For the Soba Noodle Salad
    160g Soba noodles
    2 sprring onion sliced thinly on the diagonal
    tbsp of peederdew peepers chopped
    1/3 cucumber deseeded and sliced on the diagonal
    1 tbsp crunchy peanut butter

Directions

For the Meat balls:
In a food processsor chop a bunch of spring onions,a small chunnk of root ginger 1 clove of garlic 300g prawns 1 tsp five spice powder, 1 tsp tarogshi powder 450g minced pork and 1 egg white. when thoroughly mixed together form into small balls and chill until needed.

For the Sauce:
In a pan boil together the vinegar, water and sugar until all the sugar is desolved a a little reduced this will take about 4-5 minutes.

In the food processor, chop a bunch of spring onions, 2 medium carrots and a yellow pepper.

When the vingar mixture is ready, add the vegatables, tomato sauce and soy sauce.

fry the meat balls without oil in a large frying pan, when browned cover with the sauce and simmer for 15 minutes.

For the Noodle salad:
Soke the Soba noodles in hot water until soft anf then drain then cool in cold water.

Mix with the sliced cucumber, spring onions, pappers, peanut butter and soy sauce. Set aside until the meat balls are ready.


Serve the noodles cold and the meat balls hot.
