Introduction

Super simple recipe makes a warm meal for wintery nights! Super simple recipe makes a warm meal for wintery nights!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    2 pounds lean ground turkey (93/7)
    2 medium onions, diced
    2 cans Rotel tomatos (I use the type with Green Chilis)
    24 oz water
    1 2-Alarm Chili Kit from Wick Fowler's

Directions

1. Brown turkey and onions in saute pan
2. Puree half of tomatoes.
3. Add to crockpot all ingredients EXCEPT masa and red pepper and salt from chili kit.
4. Add salt and red pepper to taste.
5. Cook on low 4-6 hours.
6. If you want thicker chili, stir masa into 1/4 cup warm water and add to chili about 20 minutes before serving.
7. You can top with green onions, shredded cheese, sour cream, chips, etc., which are not included in nutritional info.

****The box has stovetop directions...The crockpot is just easier for me!****
