Ingredients

    1 can of chick peas
    1 can of diced tomatoes
    2 TBSP of Canola Oil
    2 Medium Onions (chopped)
    1 inch cinnamon stick
    1 bay leaf
    4 cloves
    2 cardamon pods
    5 peppercorns
    8 cloves garlic
    3/4 inch ginger
    1 tsp Dhania Jeera
    1 tsp Channa Masala
    Pinch of turmeric
    1 tsp lemon juice

Directions

Heat oil. Add bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves, cardamon and peppercorns.

Add all powdered spiced; cook well

Add tomatoes, cook 10 minutes

Add chick peas and lemon juice

Cook 20 minutes
