Ingredients
-
1 c onions
1 c celery
1 T Bleu Cheese Salad Dressing
3 T bread crumbs
1 egg
16 oz Jennie-O Extra Lean Ground Turkey (you can use ground chicken breast too, but ground turkey is easier to work with)
1 bottle (12 oz) of Franks Hot Sauce (the original hot sauce, or any hot sauce you prefer)
2 T butter subsitute (like I Can't Believe It's Not Butter or something simliar.)
Directions
Put the first 6 ingredients (everything except the hot sauce and butter) into a bowl and mix together and make 2" meatballs. You can use a tablespoon to scoop the meatballs. A heaping tablespoon should make about a
2" ball. Put the bottle of hot sauce and the butter together
into the crockpot and turn the crockpot on so the butter melts into the hot sauce. While the butter and hot sauce are heating up in the crockpot, brown the meatballs. Once the meatballs are browned to your satisfaction, put them into a crockpot with the melted butter and hot sauce. Cook the
meatballs on high for an hour (or a lower setting if you need them to cook longer).
Nutritional Information based on 4 servings. Divide resulting meatballs by 4 and that is how many you can have per serving.
