    250g bacon*
    2 cans green beans (about 450g)
    500g pears*
    salt and sugar

    *bacon: air dried beats vacuum.
    pears: the harder the better. the ones you wouldn't want to chew are best.

seves 4, or 2 germans.

i recommend to have them with salzkartoffel style ptatoes potatoes.

dice the bacon, put in pot. add beans, then the sliced, but not peeled pears. add about 350ml of water, season with salt and sugar (just a dash) and cook for 45min.
